About Wordscramblepedia

Wordscramblepedia is a free collection of browser-based tools for word-game players, puzzle solvers, teachers and writers. Everything runs in your browser — there's no sign-up, no download, and nothing to install.

Why we built it

Word games are more fun when you're learning, not just guessing. We wanted a single, fast, ad-supported home for the tools people reach for again and again — unscramblers, anagram finders, game helpers and daily-puzzle solvers — paired with plain-English guides that actually explain how the answers are found. The goal is a resource you can lean on mid-game and also learn from between games.

What you'll find here

Our nine tools cover the everyday needs of word-game fans: the Word Scramble and Word Descrambler for making and breaking jumbles, the Anagram Solver for rearranging letters into every valid word, the Wordfeud Helper for ranked board plays, the Wordle Solver and Quordle Solver for daily puzzles, the Check Dictionary tool for confirming a word is legal, the Random Word Generator for teachers and writers, and a Word of the Day. How the tools work

The solvers check your letters against a dictionary of roughly 57,000 English words. All the matching happens on your device, in your browser — your letters are processed client-side and are not sent to or stored on a server. That makes the tools fast, private, and usable even on a shaky connection. The interface is available in many of the world's most spoken languages, because word-game fans are everywhere.

Who it's for

Competitive Scrabble, Words With Friends and Wordfeud players use the helpers to find the highest-scoring play. Teachers use the random generator and scramble maker for classroom activities and spelling practice. Writers and constructors use the anagram and dictionary tools when building puzzles. And anyone chasing a Wordle streak can get a nudge on a hard day.
