How to use the Wordle Solver
The solver takes the clues you've already earned and lists every five-letter word that still fits — so you can spend your remaining guesses wisely instead of guessing blind.
- Type the five letters from your latest guess into the boxes.
- Click each box to set its colour to match Wordle's feedback: grey (not in the word) → yellow (in the word, wrong spot) → green (correct spot). Click again to cycle.
- Press Solve to see every possible answer that fits all your clues so far.
- Play a strong candidate, then update the boxes with the new feedback and solve again to narrow the list further.
Worked example
CRANE → C grey, R yellow, A grey, N grey, E green.Set those colours and Solve. The tool keeps only words with E in position 5, an R somewhere other than position 2, and no C, A, or N — narrowing hundreds of options down to a short, winnable list.
