Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 July 2026. By using Wordscramblepedia, you agree to these terms. Please read them; they're short and written in plain language.

Acceptance

These terms govern your use of wordscramblepedia.com and its tools. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Use of the tools

Wordscramblepedia provides free word-game and puzzle tools for personal, educational and recreational use. You may use them freely for these purposes. You agree not to misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at abusive volumes, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty on word validity

Our dictionary is large but not infallible, and official word lists differ between games and regions (for example TWL, Collins/SOWPODS, and the proprietary lists used by Words With Friends and Wordfeud). Results are provided "as is" for guidance. Always confirm a word against the rules of the specific game you are playing before relying on it in competitive play. We are not responsible for disputed plays or lost games.

Intellectual property

The site's original content, guides, design and code are the property of Wordscramblepedia. Trademarks and game names mentioned on the site — including Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordfeud, Wordle and Quordle — belong to their respective owners. Wordscramblepedia is an independent resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.

Advertising and third-party links

The site is supported by advertising and may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of third parties, including advertisers. Your dealings with them are solely between you and that third party. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wordscramblepedia is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. The tools are provided free of charge and without warranties of any kind.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be handled in the courts located in the United States.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
